Lancaster solicitors support charity’s aim to bring festive joy to kids in need

A team of solicitors have joined together with a charity to help bring a brighter Christmas to those in need.

Baines Bagguley Penhale is acting as a collection point for Boxes of Hope’s shoebox appeal for the second year running.

They are accepting shoeboxes at their offices until November 12.

You can drop them off at the Morecambe office at 15 Northumberland Street, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, or at the Lancaster office at 22 Sun Street, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (closed 1-2pm).

Boxes of Hope is a shoebox charity helping deprived communities in Eastern Europe by sending gift-filled shoeboxes for children at Christmas.

A small donation of £2 should be included to cover transport costs. Leaflets containing gift ideas and including Gift Aid donation forms are available from either office.

Any surplus funds from the shoebox appeal help support Tinca School in Romania to give the children a chance of a better future.

Gift ideas include soap, facecloths, toothbrush/toothpaste, brush/comb, notebooks, colouring books, pens, pencils, pencil sharpener, crayons, small items of clothing such as hat/scarf/gloves/socks, small toys suc as soft toy/doll/glove puppet/cars/skipping rope, or sweets (use by date at least March 2016).
