The Keys, Slyne.

The Keys pub at Slyne is now looking for the family to offer them a complimentary meal to celebrate their new arrival.

The heavily pregnant woman visited the Keys pub in Slyne with her husband on Saturday May 28.

Her waters broke in the middle of the couple’s meal.

Cameron Watson from The Keys said: “The staff were on red alert, towels and hot water at the ready, but thankfully our midwifery skills were not required and the couple got to the hospital safely and just in time

“Her husband kindly rang us to tell us she had safely delivered a beautiful healthy baby girl.”

However, the pub did not take the couple’s contact details, and are now hoping they will come forward.

Cameron added: “We would like to congratulate them by giving them a complimentary meal for two and a bottle of fizz to celebrate the new arrival.”
