When it opens, the 45,000 sq ft Primark will be the largest store in Marketgate and the biggest anchor store in the city. Primark is expected to help drive increasing footfall into Marketgate and enhance Lancaster city centre’s overall shopping mix.

Chris Beckerman, managing director of Roubaix Group, said: “I’d like to thank shoppers and all of our neighbours for their patience and understanding while we have been doing this vital work.”
