Lancaster man ill after taking legal high
Police are reporting that a young man in Lancaster has had a severe reaction to the use of a legal high.
Lancaster Area police sent out a stern warning on their Facebook page on Wednesday after the incident.
Last month, five students from Lancaster University were hospitalised and two were left in a critical condition after taking former legal high Spice.
All five have since recovered after treatment.
A spokesperson for Lancaster Area Police said: “These maybe legal but you are putting unknown substances into your body. Your health is at risk. Stay safe.”
