Lancaster exhibition welcomes EU ambassador

More than 50 people attended a new exhibition which welcomed EU Ambassador Jacqueline Minor, the EU Representative to the UK Government (pictured with Lancaster’s Mayor, Jon Barry).

Briony Kapoor, creative director of the IMOS Foundation, an arts based charity which commissioned the 28 portraits on show, opened the exhibition alongside Jacqueline.

The exhibition features work from 15 UK artists who travelled to all 28 EU nations to paint a citizen from that country.

The Portrait of Europe exhibition runs until November 7 at The Gallery, The Storey, Meeting House Lane, Lancaster, open from 10.30am-4.30pm (except Sunday).
