Police received the report more than a year ago, in November 2013, that a 30-year-old woman had been raped at a hotel in Seaton Burn.

The incident happened between 3am and 6am, on Sunday, November 10, 2013, in a room at the Holiday Inn, Seaton Burn.

Officers are keen to speak to the man in the CCTV, or anyone who recognises him, as he may have vital information to assist with enquiries.

Enquiries have suggested the man pictured may be from Lancashire and officers are asking people in the county to contact police if they know who this man is.

“We would ask anyone who recognises this man to contact police as he may be able to help with our investigation.

“We continue to support the victim and our officers are investigating all lines of enquiries.”
