Kate Bush fans to dance in her honour at Lancaster Castle

Kate Bush lookalikes will soon be Running Up That Hill '“ Lancaster Castle Hill, to be more precise.

They will take part in a spontaneous dance routine, known as a ‘flash mob’, to the singer’s 1978 number one hit Wuthering Heights at the castle on Saturday, July 16.

Known as ‘The Bush Rush’, the dance is one of many being held all over the world including in Australia and Sweden as part of ‘The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever’ – an international day to celebrate Kate Bush and her music.

The Lancaster dance is being organised by Kate Bush fans Bev Whelan and Lucy Reynolds.

Anyone with a love for Kate Bush is invited to join in the free event.

All you need is to wear something red and turn up at Lancaster Castle. Dancers will warm up with the ‘Bush Whistler’ playing Kate Bush covers on the flute at 11.30am, followed by the participatory dance at noon.
