Ian Woolley from Quiz Britain presents Jim Bowen with an award for being Britain's favourite quiz show host.

Ian Woolley from Quiz Britain visited Jim’s home just outside Lancaster to give him a special award after he topped a poll ahead of Jeremy Vine and Bob Monkhouse.

Jim presented TV darts quiz show Bullseye from 1981 to 1995 and was famed for catchphrases including ‘Look at what you could have won’.

The 78-year-old comedian smashed the competition with 26% of the vote on the Quiz Britain website.

Victoria Coren Mitchell, host of BBC quiz Only Connect, came second with The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh in third place.
