SADISTIC vandals are trying to maim and even kill horses by poisoning their feed and hurling rocks and pitchforks at them.

Stones are being deliberately put in feed buckets and potentially lethal piles of high protein feed dumped in the paddock of the equestrian centre where the horses are stabled.

“These are sick attacks,” said Jeannette O’Callaghan, who owns and runs Lanquestrian Ltd in Overton with her husband Tristan and fellow directors Sue and Dave Jenkins.
