Heysham Rose Queen raises thousands for hospice

Throughout the last 12 months Ella along with her family and friends have been busy fundraising towards the charity she chose as part of her Rose Queen year. From Way of the Roses cycle challenge, coffee mornings to raffles and a summer Fete - Ella has raised £13,504. Catherine Butterworth, head of fundraising at Lancaster St John’s Hospice, said: “Ella has supported her local hospice from day one and is an inspirational to all young fundraisers. Her family and family have helped at each challenge along the way and the hospice have assured Ella her donation will go a long way to supporting patients.”
