Heysham M6 link: road closure cancelled

A planned road closure this weekend for Heysham M6 link works has been cancelled.

The closure of the A6 Lancaster Road at the new bridge from Friday, September 23 to Monday, September 26 for resurfacing works will not be required.

Works will now be completed under traffic lights and lane restrictions next week.

Work off the motorway on the Heysham Link project still requires a lane 1 closure and hard shoulder closure in both directions around junction 34.
