MR Michael Christopher Gudgeon, younger son of Mr and Mrs Gudgeon of Heysham, and Miss Jessica Debra McCubbin, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs McCubbin of Heysham, were married at St John’s Church, Heysham.

The bridegroom is a mechanic and the bride is a nursery nurse.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a Ronald Joyce ivory strapless gown with satin encrusted bodice and tulle skirt scattered with diamante, shoulder length veil edged in diamante droplets and tiara.

She carried a bouquet of cream avalanche roses with diamante detail.

Bridesmaids were Danielle Winrow, Sam Knott and Rachel Smith. They wore strapless Cadbury purple dresses with diamante detail to side and carried smaller bouquets of cream roses with purple diamante.

Child attendant was Alisha McCubbin (10, bride’s sister).

Best man was Mr Ben Gudgeon (groom’s brother) and Messrs Christopher McCubbin (bride’s brother) and Ryan Gudgeon (groom’s cousin) were groomsmen.

Reception: Strathmore Hotel, Morecambe, for 65 guests followed by an evening reception for 120.

Honeymoon: Tenerife.

Future home: Overton.
