The giant 30 foot inflatable pink pig showing theatre in its belly was installed as part of Lancaster’s April First Friday, the idea being that viewers watch a 10 minute piece of theatre performed inside the cavernous belly through the pig’s nipples.

There were snorts of delight from adults and children alike as they viewed the theatre through the nipples. Some even wore curly pig’s tails to watch the performance.

Creative Producer for First Fridays Julie Brown said: “On April 1, we also had an evening screening of Nosferatu in Lancaster Castle courtyard with a newly composed score played live, several workshops, craft and family fun activities.”
