A FORMER Lancaster Royal Grammar School pupil who went onto a career in professional rugby has died at the age of 24.
Selorm Kuadey joined Sale Sharks straight from school in 2005, playing 16 times for the first team, but was forced to retire from the game in 2010 on medical advice.
He is believed to have taken his own life.
Tributes have been pouring in for the former England Under-19 and Under-20 international.
England World Cup winner Jason Robinson tweeted: “So sad to hear about the death of a former Sale Sharks winger and team mate Selorm Kuadey. Thoughts and prayers go to his family at this time.”
