Former footballer in Unique Kidz and Co fundraiser
Ashley Ward, who played for Manchester City, Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield United, joined Morecambe couple Paul and Amanda Broster for the golf day for Unique Kidz and national charity Caudwell Children.
Unique Kidz and Co, who provide after school and holiday clubs for disabled children and young people, was proud to enter its own team.

Hide AdPaul Halpin, husband of co-founder of Unique Kidz and Co Jane Halpin, their son, Morgan, plus Martin Lawson and Geoff Pickles, president of Morecambe Golf Club made up the team.
The sun shone on Morecambe Golf Club as the teams arrived and the day continued on into the evening when guests enjoyed a meal, live entertainment, raffle and an auction.
Paul Broster said: “This was our first-ever charity event and I am overwhelmed by the support we received.”
Jane Halpin said; “Paul and Amanda worked extremely hard organising such a great day for our local businesses.
