Flooding reports in Lancaster and Morecambe

There has been several reports of flooding across the district after heavy rainfall hit the region last night and early this morning.

Motorists struggled along Morecambe promenade as strong winds hit.

Roads became waterlogged near the bottom of West End Road.

There were also reports of flooding in the Slyne With Hest area, Crook O’Lune and Halton Road, near the River Lune, earlier this week as storm Abigail hit.

Now storm Barney hit yesterday creating gusts of up to 85mph in some North West areas.
