Fire crews were called to a rush hour collision in Lancaster this morning, Tuesday February 20.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent two fire engines from Lancaster and Morecambe to the two car collision in Scotforth Road, where they found a woman trapped in one of the vehicles at around 8.50am.

Firefighters managed to release the woman from the car, and she was attended to by ambulance paramedics.
