Stuart Westbrook, who formed EMMU in 1981 to make sport safer, said: “We provide cover to many local Motorsport events but also travel to Scotland, Ireland, the Isle of Man, to name just a few.

“I have been planning the vehicle replacements for some time and spotted these vehicles in January.

“I bought one to begin with and set about designing the interior with Van Bodies in Morecambe.

“Sign writing was done by Mather Signs,and vehicle lighting supplied by K&J in Lancaster.

“I applied for a development grant from the Motor Sports Association who are our governing body, a grant was awarded which enabled us to purchase the second vehicle and here we are now all completed and ready for a busy year ahead.”
