By-election due for new city councillor in Carnforth
Voters in Carnforth will go to the polls on Thursday (November 26) to elect a new city councillor.
A by-election was called for the Carnforth and Millhead seat on Lancaster City Council after the sudden death of councillor Chris Leadbetter in September.
The candidates are George Askew (Conservative), Chris Coates (Green), Philip Dunster (Liberal Democrat), Paul Gardner (Labour) and Michelle Ogden (UKIP).
The results will be announced on Friday morning.
