A man charged with murdering his partner and six-year-old son will next appear in court on August 2.
Paul Chadwick was due to appear at Preston Crown Court on Monday.
A spokesman for the crown court said the case had been put back because Mr Chadwick’s defence solicitor asked for more time.
Mr Chadwick, 34, is charged with murdering Lisa Clay, 40, and Joseph Chadwick on April 9.
Their bodies were found with multiple stab wounds at their home on Lowlands Road in Bolton-le-Sands.
