THE Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Community Roadshow will be visiting Carnforth tomorrow and Friday.
The vehicle, funded by Tesco, will be at the Carnforth Tesco, Lancaster Road, on Thursday, August 30 and Friday, August 31, between 10am and 4pm.
People who are currently living with dementia, are worried about a friend or relative’s memory, or just have questions about the condition are encouraged to drop by with no appointment necessary.
Helen Foster, Area Manager North West, Alzheimer’s Society, said: “We are delighted that the Dementia Community Roadshow is back in the North West and we hope as many people as possible will take advantage of this vital free information service.
“The roadshow really is pioneering as it helps us reach out to communities, tackle stigma by raising awareness of the condition and encourage people who are worried about their memory to visit their GP.”
