Deliveries continue as floodwater rises

The SJ Bargh head office operation sits next to the River Lune in Caton Road.

However, staff worked tirelessly through the night to ensure there was no interruption to business for customers.

Generators were fired up for basic computer usage to maintain the continuity in planning and head torches were worn to see paperwork!

Despite the dire situation, SJ Bargh management and staff worked around the clock to ensure all farm collection commitments were met and dairies supplied.

“Not to have missed a farm in such horrendous conditions is quite staggering performance and the drivers and your staff deserve a huge amount of credit for their dedication to the cause.”
