Drug dealers felt the full force of the law with seven raids and seven arrests during a week long operation in Morecambe.

Police executed seven drugs warrants, made seven arrests and recovered cocaine, amphetamine, cannibis and Class C drugs.

They also found a number of items of stolen property, reuniting them with their rightful owners.

Two hundred leaflets were distributed at nearby addresses. A police spokesperson said: “The people of Morecambe want us to make the tackling of drug issues a priority. If you suspect someone is dealing drugs near youcall the Neighbourhood Policing team on 01524 596986, 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
