A few weeks ago, I launched my constituency wide survey, I really want to know your thoughts on local issues so please let me know online at www.letdavidknow.co.uk.

If you’d like a paper copy of the survey you can contact my office.

They are also being delivered through your letterbox so look out for your copy.

Be assured that I read all of the responses, comments and suggestions when I am in debates in Parliament and when I am in meetings too.

I have been talking in Parliament about the proposed takeover of AstraZeneca by Pfizer, the point I made was that in the City companies are taken over the time and why in particular has this takeover been so politicised by Ed Miliband?

I have been on BBC Radio 4 talking about the fact that it is not for politicians to get involved in transactions between companies and their shareholders.

Ed Miliband again politicised the proposed takeover at Prime Minister’s Questions last week.

In the days following, I did some research and as a result have referred the Labour leader Ed Miliband to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards.

Over the weekend I spoke at an event in Preston, as I am sure you know I never miss an opportunity to talk about Morecambe and Lunesdale and I was able to tell the people gathered in Preston about the Morecambe Carnival and what a successful day it was.

After the huge success of last year’s summer tour, I’ll be doing the same again this year.

If you would like me to visit where you live, please do get in touch and thank you to those of you who have already invited me.

Please keep an eye out on this column for details of where I will be and when.

On Friday I will be doing street surgeries around the constituency so please look out for me on your street.

Remember I am here to offer you help and advice, if you need some help you can contact me anytime on 01524 841225 or e-mail me via my website www.davidmorrismp.co.uk if.
