Students Hannah Brown and Giovanni Baldussi also hit very high marks.

Dallam Headteacher, William Bancroft was delighted: “This is an exceptional set of results. We are delighted with our first 100% score and with the achievements of all the students.”

The IB pass rate at Dallam increased to a point where it is now well above the IB World pass rate.

Dallam, the only IB World state school in Cumbria and North Lancashire, saw strong performances throughout the subject range but of particular note were the strong performances in Spanish, English, History and Biology where many students achieved the maximum possible marks.

IB Diploma Coordinator Richard Doyle said: “This is a brilliant day for all of our Diploma students, many of them achieving fantastic results but especially for Anna, I know how hard she has worked for this; she really does join an exclusive group of students.

“The tenacity and drive our students display and let’s not forget the excellent teaching and good guidance they receive will ensure that they are now ready and prepared to move on to the next stage in their lives – our very best wishes go to all of them.”
