Cyclist injured in Lancaster hit and run

A cyclist was left with serious injuries after a hit and run collision in Lancaster this week.

The 46-year-old female cyclist was involved in a collision with a light blue car, possibly a Citroen, on St Georges Quay.

She was left with serious upper body injuries which required treatment at Royal Lancaster Hospital. The car failed to stop.

PC 3133 Mark Howson from the Lancaster Road Policing Unit said: “I am urging anyone who may have witnessed this incident or the driver involved to get in contact with us so that we can determine exactly how this collision has occurred.”
