UNPRECEDENTED cuts made by Lancashire County Council mean children’s homes and respite centres for disabled people could face closure.
Fees for the care of elderly people will rise dramatically and funding for social services is to be slashed.

Protestors Jill and Simon Rudd, from Morecambe, have a disabled daughter who goes to Beaumont College, Lancaster, which provides courses to people with learning difficulties and disabilities.
