A stand-off between the police and a man on a roof ended with the man being arrested.
Police were called to an address on Longlands Avenue, Heysham, at 1.30pm on Sunday to reports of a man on a roof.
Officers managed to get the man down safely from the roof at 4pm.
A 24-year-old man from Heysham was arrested on suspicion of affray and was taken into custody.
The police had initially been called to reports of someone at the address throwing property around.
Witnesses said the road was closed off at both ends by police cars whilst the incident was ongoing.
At least eight police cars were at the scene at the height of the incident.
