A man pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly on a train at Lancaster.

Matthew Joseph Mair, 28, of Gardiner Way, Edinburgh also pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to custody and possession of Class C drugs.

Magistrates at Lancaster fined Gardiner £235 and ordered him to pay £105 court costs including a victim surcharge of £20, which helps victims of crime. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.
