Man in court over 200 wraps of heroin

A man is to appear in court in connection with the seizure by police of about 200 wraps of suspected heroin from a vehicle on Ovangle Road, Lancaster on Thursday, June 9.

Adam Kay, 19, of Caldy Grove, St Helens, will appear at Preston Magistrates Court on June 17 charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply. He appeared at Lancaster Magistrates on Friday and was remanded in custody.

Police said two men aged 33 and 21 who were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of heroin have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
