Man arrested after drugs raid on Lancaster house

Police in Lancaster have arrested a man on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs after a raid on a house.

Task Force Officers attended an address in Shakespere Road, Lancaster, on Sunday, and discovered a large amount of suspected crack cocaine that was in the process of being prepared into individual deals ready to be sold on the street.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old man from Liverpool on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply in relation to the incident.

A spokesman for Lancashire Constabulary said: "This is yet another example of out-of-area criminals who think that they can come to our city and flood it with drugs.

"Wrong. You are not welcome in our city, we will find you and we will continue to target you until you leave our area."
