A Lancaster man is due in court charged with theft from two different shops.

David Spencer, 33, of Greenset Close, Lancaster is accused of stealing alcohol worth £59.96 from Lidl and household items from Farmfoods of an unknown value.

He is due to appear before magistrates at Preston today, December 15.
