Killer jailed for life again

A MAN who was jailed for a chilling four-decade rape spree had been released from prison early after murdering a teenager in Morecambe.

David Taylor, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the second time last Friday after raping 11 victims and either trying to rape or indecently assaulting 17 others, was originally sent to prison for life in 1987.

Taylor deliberately drove his car into 17-year-old Andrew Williams and killed him.

Taylor, 66, was released in 1999 after serving just 12 years. But then his hideous series of sex crimes, which spanned 1970 to 2008 and all took place in the Manchester area, were uncovered.
