Lancashire Constabulary are embracing technology to help you contact your local police officer. If you need to contact a specific officer and you know the officer’s collar number, you can fill in a form online and send them an email directly. Vandals damage cars in spree

Police in Lancaster are looking for vandals who carried out a spree of attacks on cars. The spate of criminal damage happened on Dale Street overnight on Saturday, May 10.

North West firms committed to fighting cyber crime have joined forces to highlight the region’s technical expertise and raise security standards. The 
North West Cyber 
Security Cluster (NWCSC) is one of only a few initiatives of its type in the 
UK. The cluster, with support from Lancaster University, will enable business es and other organisations in the region and beyond to benefit from a pool of experts with skills that can put in place protective measures to reduce the risks posed by cyber security threats.

Banned driver in court

Terrance Watkinson, 44, of Alexandra Road, Morecambe, must do 40 hours unpaid work after admitting driving whilst disqualified. He also had to pay £145 costs.
