A charity office was burgled in Lancaster.

Police said that between 6pm on April 10 and 8am on April 11, someone entered the offices of Age UK, on Chapel Street in Lancaster.

The burglar went into the main office, and stole clothing left by an employee.

PC Hanley, from Lancaster Police said: “Breaking into any building with the intention to steal is always a serious offence.”

“I would ask the public to cast their minds back to that evening and night, and contact the police with any information they may have about this matter.”
