Police have released CCTV pictures of a woman they wish to speak to regarding the theft of cosmetics and clothing from a shop.

At 1.30pm on January 28, a woman entered Accessorize, on Penny Street in Lancaster.

She then selected several items and left the store and walked off quickly, failing to pay for the items.

The description of the suspect is given as a white woman, late 30s to early 40s, average build, shoulder length straight dark brown hair wearing a dark hooded jacket and dark jeans.

PC Faye Tinker, from Lancaster & Morecambe Police, added “We would ask the public to study the image released and I would urge anybody that recognises the individual to get in contact with us.”
