The incident happened at around 9.20pm on Thursday September 3 when officers say it is believed two men entered the New Dragon Town takeaway on Albert Road in Morecambe with their faces covered.

One of the men, armed with a blowtorch, scaled the counter and confronted staff before demanding money.

When the staff refused to hand any cash over the pair fled the scene empty-handed.
