Appeal after dog bite incident in Heysham

Police are appealing for a pet owner to come forward after a large black dog bit someone near the Natwest bank in Heysham.

The dog had short hair and a curly tail and a short lead. The dog walker was a white woman, 5ft 3, late 20s to early 30s, slim to medium build, tanned complexion with long blonde hair tied up in a ponytail.

The incident was on May 14 at 12.25pm.
