A young apprentice who took part in a charity cycle ride has had his bike stolen.
Salvatore Lebaldi, 19, who works for Lancaster City Council, has now been left without transport to work.
He said: “It was my pride and joy and the best thing I’d ever invested in.
“Cycling was an occupation I really enjoyed and I’m really disappointed I haven’t got that now.”
The bike was aroad bike in black and yellow with white handlebars which cost £350. It was locked to a bar in the back garden of a house on Clarence Street in Lancaster when it was stolen sometime between 7am and 4pm on Thursday, September 19, police said.Call 101.
