Comedy returns to Borough

THE Lancaster Comedy Club returns to The Borough this Sunday (May 20) and who knows who might turn up?

Recently John Bishop arrived unannounced at the Dalton Square pub to try out new material on an unsuspecting but delighted audience.

As for this Sunday, the regular laughter night includes Michael Fabbri, who manages to effortlessly slip between some harsh, controversial topics to light-hearted silliness to make for a brilliantly funny act.

Posh boy Andrew Watts was a high flying solicitor in London, but his love of performing stand up late at night across the UK soon conflicted with his employers’ policy of starting work on time. Somewhat predictably, he now works as a full-time comic.

And Rod Shepherd – Conspiracy Theorist is the sort of character who spends far too much time alone in his potting shed.

Cork’s Andrew Ryan returns to compere. Admission is £9 on the door or £7 in advance (up until 4pm). Meal deals are available for only £12.
