Coffee morning in aid of quake victims

A COFFEE morning is being held at St Peter’s church hall in Heysham to aid the Japanese quake and tsunami victims.

The event, on Saturday, March 26, between 10am and 12.30pm, is in aid of the British Red Cross to enable them to carry on supporting the Japanese Red Cross.

The Red Cross helps people whoever and wherever they are and the Japanese Red Cross have over 80 teams working in the area supplying vital goods, blankets, water, clothes and food.

Donations of cakes, raffle prizes and unwanted gifts would be greatly appreciated.
