Coastguard called to lights on the beach
Lights by the stone jetty in Morecambe prompted a concerned person to call the coastguard.
Morecambe Coastguard Rescue Team went to the scene by the stone jetty near the water line on Wednesday evening.
One of the team members arrived on scene and spotted the lights and looked through binoculars and identified two people and a tripod.
Morecambe Lifeboat launched their hovercraft and approached the people.
They confirmed they were fishermen and ensured they were in no need of assistance.
Both teams then stood down.
