City IT firm wins place on coveted Apple provider list

Ubertechs, in Bulk Street, has been named as an Apple Premium Service Provider for the year, after receiving glowing reports of its customer satisfaction, speed and accuracy.

There are only five IT firms in the country to receive this annual award. It means Ubertechs has been listed on Apple’s website as a premium provider and the company received a plaque to put up in their shop.

Owner Mike Dent said: “This is a recognition of our hard work. We have had to constantly monitor and keep on top of everything.”

Mike is the founder of Ubertechs Ltd and has more than 25 years’ experience working with information technology, having worked for BT and Lancaster University.

Mike held the position of chief technician at Lancaster University for 10 years before leaving to form Ubertechs Ltd.

He also has a background in wireless communications, experience with Apple Macs, training and MCP certification from Microsoft.

For the last three years the firm has worked solely with Apple products, providing repair and sales, and all work is carried out on the premises in a repair workshop.
