Cat found badly hurt
A cat with burns, scalds or rope injuries was found in the street.
The RSPCA is appealing for information after the male cat was discovered on Chatsworth Road in Morecambe by a member of the public on Monday morning.
The cat is undergoing treatment at Bay Vets for its badly infected wounds, believed to have been inflicted a week ago.
