Carnforth tot found safe but dad still missing

The child was found at an address in Kirkby Lonsdale after going missing with his father.

Police are still trying to trace Mark Varley, 31, who left his home in Carnforth at around 2.20am on Sunday with his two year old son Brandon in his black BMW.

It is thought Mr Varley may be in the North Lancashire or South Cumbria area.

Mark is described as 5ft 10 tall with short brown hair, and was last seen wearing jeans and a blue t-shirt.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mark should contact Lancashire Police on 101 quoting the log number 184 of February 15.
