“The carnival committee have worked so hard, the weather wasn’t very nice but apart from that it was a great day for all.”
Despite the dull weather crowds gathered to see performances from girl band Stooshe, who replaced 2014 X Factor star Jake Quickenden, after he pulled out due to a TV commitment.
Taking place on Saturday July 2 the carnival welcomed performances from X Factor semi-finalist Misha B, Britain’s Got Talent Star Gabz, Ella Shaw, Taken, Ryan Lawrie, JSMV, local drum group Batala, Jennifer’s Dancers, Lancaster Bombers, Carnforth’s own Megan S, and local singers Stuart Michaels and David Hamner.
