Car crashes into house in Heysham
A car smashed into the front of a house in Heysham after the handbrake failed.
Inspector Kirstie Banks-Lyon of Morecambe Police said: “The vehicle suffered a mechanical failure and rolled down the hill. The handbrake failed so there was no criminal intent.”

Hide AdThe vehicle’s back end had smashed into the front room of the house on Rylestone Drive in Heysham, demolishing bricks and smashing the window.
Police said no-one was hurt in the incident, which happened on January 13.
