CancerCare campaign: Brewer pledges to raise charity cash
The local brewers have announced that they will be donating 25p from every pudding sale and 10p per coffee to help fund the development of new cancer support services for Lancaster teenagers.
The first pub to begin raising funds through coffee and pudding sales was the stunning canal-side Water Witch.

I’m sure our staff and customers will get behind this new scheme and knowing that 25p is donated from every pudding – it should help with that decision at the end of a meal!”
Community fund raiser Helen Hartin said: “I am thrilled that Mitchell’s, a local, family-owned business is supporting CancerCare. And what a fun way to do it! A coffee with friends and a guilt-free pudding!”
CancerCare CEO Neil Townsend said: “We are delighted that Mitchells have chosen CancerCare to partner with and support our campaign to expand our Children & Young People’s Service for local teens.
“As well as helping raise funds towards our work, we will be supporting Mitchell’s staff and customers through some education and awareness programmes that we hope to run during our partnership.”
