Lidi UK is recalling its King Frais Desserts with Cream (Pudding Schokolade mit Sahne) amid fears they could pose a health risk to anyone who is allergic to milk.

The chocolate puddings, which are labelled in German, contain milk, which is not mentioned in English on the label, creating a possible health risk for anyone who is allergic or intolerant to milk or its constituents.

The packs contain four 115g pots of dessert, have yellow packaging and carry the name Pudding Shokolade mit Sahne.

Milk allergy symptoms differ from person to person and can occur a few minutes to a few hours after drinking milk or eating milk products. Immediately after consuming milk, signs and symptoms of an allergy may include: hives,

wheezing and vomiting. Symptoms that may take more time to develop include: diarrhea, abdominal cramps, coughing or wheezing, runny nose, watery eyes and an itchy skin rash, often around the mouth.

Lidl is advising anyone who has bought the pudding and has an allergy or intolerance to milk or its constituents, not eat it and it to their nearest Lidl store. You can also contact Lidl Customer Relations on 0370 444 1234.
