Boxing: Declan puts in dominant display but Dawid loses

Two Coastal ABC boxers were in action in Salford on Saturday night.

It was youngster Declan Wakeman’s first bout as he took on Rico Winston, and he impressed, dominating each round as he showed his much taller opponent no mercy.

Dawid Zulawiski was also in action as he took on Jay O’Sullivan in his first bout, and lost on a split decision.

Both fighters are boxing next Saturday on the club’s home show, there are 17 bouts and it takes place at at Lancaster and Morecambe College.
